Special Bulletin - Sid Seixeiro and Meredith Shaw Released as hosts of Citytv's Breakfast Television

We have some sad news to share with you today that Sid Seixeiro and Meredith Shaw have been released as hosts of Citytv's Breakfast Television. Devo Brown announced the news this morning that the duo hosting the show for less than 2 years were no longer with the program. Sid Seixeiro joined the show in March 2021, replacing Roger Petersen (now working at CTV News Channel), while Meredith joined in September 2023 from Bell Media, replacing Dina Pugliese who left the show after 17 years. This comes less than a month after the network cut ties with longtime personalities Tracy Moore and Cheryl Hickey, in which the duo were originally assigned to host a new 5th national hour of the show, but Rogers Sports & Media scrapped the plans for the expanded 5th national hour.
