There's some big changes coming to the Pay-TV landscape in Canada, as Rogers snags WBD factual and lifestyle programs from Bell & Corus, and as a result, Bell Media will rebrand Discovery, Investigation Discovery, Discovery Science, Discovery Velocity, and Animal Planet, as USA Network, Oxygen, CTV Nature, CTV Speed, and CTV Wild respectively, Rogers lanuching new Canadian versions of HGTV, Food Network, Magnolia Network, Discovery and Investigation Discovery (both happening on January 1st 2025), while Corus shuts down Cooking Channel and Magnolia Network on December 31, 2024 in favor of programs airing on the new Home & Flavour networks, which will happen next Monday (December 30th), and the medals will be handed out at the 2025 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship from Ottawa next Sunday (January 5th, 2025), the same day Nikki Glaser hosts the 82nd Golden Globe Awards live from Beverly Hills on Citytv and Citytv+!
